BALSAM OIL BASE OIL Base Oils are used either as a necessary carrier, which will integrate the essential oils for use in aromatherapy and cosmetology, or undiluted in cosmetic treatment. Its use is mentioned by Hippocrates, Galen and Dioscorides. It is produced from Balsam with cold extraction.
